Telemark – the cultural cradle of Norway
Telemark, one of the most traditional regions in Norway, about 2 hours drive west of Oslo, has it all: coast, snow capped peaks, rolling hills, farmland and charming villages. Traditions are strong in Telemark. You can visit old, traditional farm houses, help local farmers gather his/her sheep when they come from their summer pastures in the high mountains, craft your own knife, learn about herbs and how to use them, discover Norway’s oldest stave church, listen to folk tunes, hunt for antiques and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the barren high mountains.
Telemark is more suitable for groups up to 30 guests during spring, summer or autumn.
The South Coast – an archipelago with idyllic ports and villages How about staying at a hotel spread over 10 large houses, each with its own swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi? What about combining a wellness programme and outdoors activities like canoeing, fishing and sailing? Or what about a guided tour in the forest, picking wild berries and mushrooms? The lovely coastal towns provide a perfect setting for any meeting or incentive.
