venuesworld.com welcomes Maria Toland to the team
VenuesWorld are delighted to welcome our newest Event Executive, Maria Toland, who has joined our Event Operations team in our head office in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
Maria Toland
Maria previously studied at Ulster University graduating with a First Class Honours BSc in Leisure and Event Management. After this, she worked at the 5* Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast within the Front Office team, and then with the Antrim Enterprise Agency as a Conference and Events Coordinator. During this time she also gained a Diploma in Professional Practice completing this with a Distinction.
She has a keen interest in sport and exercise having played camogie from an underage level right through to senior level for her local club, St. Mary’s Aghagallon. She also volunteers during her spare time having previously volunteered with Special Olympics Ulster and the Belfast City Marathon. She also coaches underage teams in camogie and is involved in fundraisers for the club.

With her friendly attitude and excellent organisational skills, Maria will bring a lot of support to the Registration and Delegate Services within the Event Operations Team.
