Annual Sales Kick off

This event was the annual sales kick off for the client company, bringing together shareholders and management from all over Europe. This client has been organising events with the venuesworld.com™ teams for the past 4 years, and for this particular event in Spain our local venuesspain.com™ team managed the event from start to finish.

Entertainment & Activities

The venuesspain.com™ team arranged for an interactive choir of singers from London to perform for one of the evening events. By involving the attendees in a sing along, guests were quickly interacting and enjoying the atmosphere.

A group of Brazilian drummers and dancers was also arranged to escort the guests down to the garden restaurant El Mirador, where they were welcomed by fire dancers and a live DJ performance late into the night.

Team building activities are a fantastic way to break the ice for clients who are yet to know their international colleagues, proven to result in improved communication, office morale, and business drive within the company.

The group was divided into 5 activities to suit personal interests:

Gala Dinner

There were multiple gala dinner events organised throughout the few days. One of the evenings was themed on a cultural dining experience, dividing the tables into different countries, each with a different menu of various cultural tasting experiences.

The Banana plantation was also privately reserved for an evening event of a carnival spectacular, incorporating memorable drummer performers, carnival queens, live bands and a live DJ late into the night.

The Location – Tenerife

Tenerife is Spain’s largest Canary Island, known for its bright white beaches and luxury holiday resorts, and less known for its ideal conference spaces and for having airports on all the islands. Challenges, Solutions and Highlights

This activity packed 6 day event was quite the logistics challenge in regards to the various cultural activities and entertainment involves, quite specifically the international cultural food evening. But the venuesspain.com™ teams are well versed in fast paced, fun packed weeks, so no challenge was left unsolved and the event was an overall success.

Tenerife is a stunning location, with an especially mild climate during the winter months, making it a super location for international conference events during the cooler seasons. One of the many highlight of this event would have to be the Banana Plantation, which not only demonstrated the local culture and horticulture, but the fire and drumming entertainment lit by the warm glow of candles along the footpath absolutely made an impression.
