Here are the current guidelines for running events in Ireland:
From September 20th:
Organised indoor group activities can take place with capacity limits of 60% of seated capacity where all patrons are immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within previous 6 months).
From October 22nd
Restrictions ease completely- no limit on numbers and social distancing measures will be relaxed.
The island of Ireland is ready to welcome visitors when the time is right, and that time is now!
From July 19th 2021, the rules on social distancing have been relaxed, and England is able accommodate any size of events. All venues are open and no longer implement capacity limits, Covid19 testing or social distancing measures. Face masks are also a personal choice or a decision for the event organiser.
Scotland
In Scotland, there are no social distancing measures or restrictions on gatherings in most settings, however some restrictions remain. Face coverings still need to be worn indoors and from October 1st, anyone over 18 will be required to show proof of double vaccination before they are allowed entry into nightclubs, unseated indoor events with more than 500 attendees, unseated outdoor events of more than 4,000, and any event with more than 10,000 guests.

Wales
There are now no legal restrictions on the number of people who can meet indoors and all premises, including nightclubs, are open again.
Northern Ireland
In Northern Ireland venues like theatres have reopened and conferences and exhibitions have returned. People must still wear a face covering at all indoor venues and customer details are required for the Test, Trace, Protect contact tracing programme.
NEW / RECENT HOTEL OPENINGS

Hilton London Metropole – One of Europe’s largest conference and events hotel, with close transport links to Heathrow Airport and Central London, has undergone a multimillion-pound refurbishment. Renovations have been made to the hotel’s 1,096 guestrooms and suites, 35 event spaces and meeting rooms, four restaurants and bars, executive lounge and state-of-the-art 200sqm gym. The renovation finished this summer 2021 and will provide visitors with a completely new and upgraded stay. No element of the hotel has been left unchanged.
Cameron House, Scotland– Reopening September 2021, this 5-star luxury hotel has been closed since a fire in 2017. It is set on the banks of Loch Lomond, a 1-hour drive from Glasgow. There are 140 bedrooms, a spa and 18-hole championship level golf course. With 400 acres of majestic countryside on its doorstep, Cameron House also boasts breath-taking 360-degree views of the Scottish landscape. Visitors can enjoy unparalleled views through scenic bike hire trails, falconry experiences, pony treks, clay pigeon shooting, 4×4 off-road driving adventures, Segway safaris, as well as a list of picturesque walks and hikes.
Capacity limits have been lifted in France for all events and venues however you will need to present a health pass. The pass must prove one of the three following items:
That you are fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine or similar)
You have been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48 hours
OR that you have recovered from COVID-19, attested by a positive PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than 6 months old.

Novotel Porte de Versailles 4* – an excellent new meeting hotel overlooking the Porte de Versailles trade show center – a totally new concept Novotel design with a great rooftop bar and nice meeting spaces.
Spain is taking steps toward normality but measures vary from region to region. Most regions are lifting restrictions, and some are planning on eliminating them all in the coming weeks. The wearing of a mask is mandatory in indoor or enclosed spaces, as well as on public transport. For further information on the Spanish guidelines, we recommend contacting the team here.
On August 6th, Italy introduced the “Green Pass”, a digital Covid19 health certificate that is required for entry to museums, theatres, theme parks, spas and indoor dining and events. Similar to the French “health pass”, it allows access for people who have had at least one vaccine dose, have recovered from Covid19 or who have tested negative within 48 hours.

The digital certificate or a negative Covid19 test is needed in Portugal to stay in hotels, dine indoors at restaurants, and to attend events, fitness group classes at the gym, spas, casinos, weddings. Click on the link below to see the guidelines for running events in Portugal:

If you plan to attend an event in The Netherlands, you will need to show a Covid Certificate, with proof of vaccination, a negative test result, or proof of recovery. People who live in The Netherlands can present these using CoronaCheck. Events held indoors without fixed seating can receive up to 75% of the maximum number of visitors. See the latest update here.
In general, events are operating in Germany with the “3G” rule. This means that delegates have to prove that they are “geimpft” (fully vaccinated), “genesen” (recovered) or “getestet” (current negative test). Let’s take Berlin as one example- see here.
NEW / RECENT HOTEL OPENINGS
Hotel Estrel Berlin, the largest conference hotel in Germany, just recently opened an additional 5.000 sqm event space including a state-of-the-art auditorium for up to 788 guests plus additional breakouts and foyers. They are now able to offer 85 event rooms and a total of 30.000 sqm of event space. The construction of a new hotel complex right across the street with 750 hotel rooms in addition to the existing 1.125 hotel rooms just started and will be finished in 2024.

In Frankfurt, a new Melià Hotel just opened its 443 hotel rooms and 1.400 sqm event space and impresses with a spectacular architecture.

Hungary is open for business and have been operating events for several months now.
Restrictions remain in place for indoor events and outdoor events featuring more than 500 attendees. Only holders of a “certificate of protection” may attend such an event (individuals who have either been vaccinated against or recovered from COVID-19). NEW / RECENT HOTEL OPENINGS
